Red Pepper and Feta Turkey Burgers

I have been slacking with my posting of recipes. I have been busy traveling, visiting family, and getting ready for a big move. I'm going to try to post more in the near future even though I'm starting classes soon. But a girl's got to eat, and what better way to release stress than by experimenting in the kitchen.

I made these burgers because I found the ingredients in my house and thought they would taste good together. I was right. These puppies tasted delicious. I ate one over a bed of greens instead of a bun and it worked out perfectly.

These are pretty easy to make so there is no excuse to not try.

Red Pepper and Feta Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
1 lb ground 93% lean ground turkey breast
2 red bell peppers, diced
1/4 cup fat free feta cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 and grease a baking sheet.
  2. Saute the diced peppers over medium heat until soft.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ingredients.
  4. Separate into four equal parts and form four patties.
  5. Place each patty onto the sheet and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping over halfway through.
