Skinny Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are the baking backbone of America. Everyone has their favorite recipe and usually this involves a lot of butter. It being swimsuit season but also having a sweet tooth, the normal chocolate chip cookie is not allowed. Therefore there needs to be a waistline friendly cookie.

You're welcome here it is.

I know this isn't going to make you see the face of God like when you bite into a butter filled grandmother crafted cookie but it will taste good while also not crushing your dietary hopes. The normal recipe calls for brown sugar but as of right now my household has a large surplus of splenda brown sugar blend so that was substituted into the recipe. Im not complaining though, it brought the calorie count lower.

Skinny Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

  2. Combine the egg white, sugars, vanilla and applesauce and beat until light and frothy.
  3. In a separate bowl combine the flours, soda, and salt and mix together.
