Mandarin Orange Bars

This recipe is how I buy my mother's love. I have been making these bars since high school and every time I come back home from college I am hard pressed to make these. This woman is mad about them. Sometimes I have to make double batches so that she can freeze some when I leave and wont be deprived.

It is quite possibly one of the easiest recipes I have ever made. It is a whopping five ingredients and is done in less than an hour. They're super sweet and sugar laden as well, so for all y'all with a sugar tooth rejoice.

Mandarin Orange Bars

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
2 egg whites
2 tsp baking soda
1 10.5 oz can lite mandarin oranges, drained
1 10.5 oz can lite mandarin oranges, with juice

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Beat all ingredients well in a large bowl.
  3. Pour into a prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
