Just because this has garlic does not mean that your breath will be able to kill a vampire. During the cooking process along with the added brown sugar it takes on a more mellow flavor. So what are you waiting for? Mince some garlic, heat some oil and preheat your ovens, we have cooking to do.
Side note: I was going to use chicken breasts for this concoction but there was a sale on tenderloins at the store, so the wallet determined tenderloins would triumph over breasts.
Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
5 chicken tenderloins
2 tsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 450 and prepare a baking pan.
- Heat oil over medium heat and cook the garlic until just becoming translucent, about 1 minute. Be attentive, they will burn quickly.
- Remove from heat and mix with the sugar.
- Spread the mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Bake for approximately 12 minutes.
