Hawaiian Chicken (Slow Cooker Recipe)

I have heard the how medical school is like drinking from a fire hose. It turns out to be 100% accurate. I dont think I have ever had to study this much and stay on top of things as meticulously as I have been doing lately. But all this brain power being spent deserves some good food, and that is where my beautiful, wonderful slow cooker comes in to play.

I have my first exam coming up so I wanted something nice and easy so I wouldn't have to worry about meals this week. This recipe only calls for four things and I already had two of them and the grocery store had a nice sale on the other two. Life is good when things are cheap.

This is a simple recipe, and if you can dice and throw things into a slow cooker, you will end up with a nice meal.

Hawaiian Chicken (Slow Cooker Recipe)

Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
1 pineapple, without the skin and core, diced into small pieces
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

Ingredients
  1. Place the chicken in first.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients and mix a bit making sure the chicken stays on the bottom.
  3. Set on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  4. Eat and enjoy.
