Before anyone gives me heck for using canned cranberry sauce, my house is currently emptied of orange juice and yes, I was too lazy to go get some. If we did have juice, I would have made my own cranberry sauce because you best believe I love me some homemade cranberry sauce. Also the sauce I make is normally more tart than the canned variety. You win some, you lose some.
Cranberry Apple Chicken
Ingredients
2 lb. chicken breast tenderloins, 10 tenderloins
1 large granny smith apple, peeled and chopped
1 14 oz. can whole berry cranberry sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sauce and chopped apple.
- Place the chicken in a large casserole dish.
- Pour the sauce and apple over the chicken and evenly distribute.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
